Lucy joined Coram as a tenant in October 2024, having successfully completed her pupillage under the supervision of Sarah Branson, Sarah Tyler and Bianca Jackson.
Lucy welcomes instructions across all areas of family law. She has appeared in financial remedy proceedings, including FDRs involving intervenors, final hearings and enforcement proceedings. She has also appeared in private law children, public law children, Hague and Family Law Act applications, often representing very vulnerable clients, and often involving multi-day final hearings and fact-finding hearings.
Lucy is able to effectively represent neurodivergent clients. She has completed a qualification in Understanding Autism and has learnt conversational Makaton and BSL to assist in obtaining instructions from non-verbal clients.
Lucy has also assisted in cases involving TOLATA, FGM, appeals and stay applications, cases in the High Court, and has worked with leading counsel. She has an interest in and has worked on cases in the Court of Protection.

Lucy studied law at the University of Oxford and graduated with a first (distinction). She was a scholar and was awarded two Examinations Prizes for achieving the top results in her College. Lucy then received a Cassel Scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn to study the Bar Course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy.
