Coram Chambers is proud to announce that Victoria Roberts, an esteemed barrister within our ranks, has been appointed as a Recorder. This prestigious appointment comes from King Charles III, based on the recommendations of the Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP, and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, The Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
Victoria is among 97 Recorders appointed today, with her new role set to officially commence on 18 November 2024. Mark Twomey KC and Alison Easton, joint heads of Coram Chambers, expressed their pride in this significant achievement: “This appointment is a fantastic personal accomplishment for Victoria, and, like the recent appointments of other Members, it reflects exceptionally well on our Chambers as a whole.”
