It is with great pleasure to announce that two of our members- Liz Isaacs QC and Anna Walsh, are now qualified arbitrators. Please join us in congratulating them on this tremendous achievement!
Liz is a specialist child law silk and sits as a Family Division Deputy High Court Judge. She is also a Public and Private Family Law Recorder (SE Circuit), a Crown Court Recorder (SE Circuit) and was formerly the elected Silk Member of The Family Justice Council (2014-2019).
Anna specialises in complex public and private children law disputes including cases where there is State intervention in private family matters. She has vast experience in representing local authorities, children, parents and extended family members and is therefore able to anticipate what her opponents’ case so as to best advise her clients accordingly. Anna is also qualified to take on Direct Access work and welcomes instructions of this nature.
