Caroline Croft, a respected barrister with Coram Chambers and co-founder of the innovative Family Law Advice for the Neurodivergent Community (FLANC), recently hosted a successful training session at Dads House.
Caroline’s training centred around the new FJC guidance on neurodiversity in family proceedings and how to ensure access to justice and the best outcomes for neurodivergent children, adults and families in the Family Justice System.
Dads House, renowned for its award-winning Family Law Clinic, aims to ensure that children’s needs remain at the forefront during challenging family transitions. In collaboration with FLANC, Caroline provided vital information during the lunchtime session, which received enthusiastic participant feedback.
The training brought together a diverse group of attendees, including solicitors, barristers, law students, and representatives from OurFamilyWizard, all dedicated to improving client support and outcomes. Caroline expressed her gratitude, stating, “What an incredible and inspiring afternoon at Dads House! It was great to see the advice clinic in action and to discuss how we can best serve neurodivergent individuals and families in the Family Justice System.”
A special acknowledgement was given to The Earls Court Development Company for generously providing the perfect space for the event, allowing the Dads House Family Law Clinic team to expand their knowledge and skills in a collaborative environment.
Ceri Parker-Carruthers, who organised the event, along with attendees including Simon Bruce, Simon Miller and William Mcgranaghan, were commended for their efforts in making the session a success.
As Dads House continues its mission to support families, this training session stands out as a testament to the power of teamwork and the importance of continued professional development in family law. With a commitment to excellence, Dads House and its partners are dedicated to ensuring justice and quality support for all families navigating challenging times.
