Over the past month, Coram Chambers hosted two new interns through the 10,000 Black Interns Scheme.
Pupils Ngozika Ndiwe and Telma Nwakor shadowed several team members to gain first-hand knowledge of how barristers manage cases and liaise with clients.
The program was established to provide internships to young Black individuals in the UK. It aimed for 2,000 internships per year for five years and was initiated in 2021 after a pilot scheme offering 100 internships.
10,000 Black Interns has collaborated with over 700 companies spanning 24 different sectors, offering internships across various internal business functions.
Coram Chambers is excited to support the students through this program.
