Coram’s Jacqueline Marks is a founding partner of The Mediation Space LLP who are up for a top award at this year’s Resolution Awards. The winner will be announced at the Resolution conference on 20 May in Birmingham.

All four partners at The Mediation Space- Jacqueline Marks, Christine Plews, Rachel Chisholm and Susan Baldock are dual qualified family lawyers and mediators and have training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Between them, they have over ten decades of experience in different forms of family dispute resolution, which means that they are able to offer a truly bespoke service.

The Mediation Space ensures that there is an in-house psychotherapist to support the mediation process and they offer a two stage MIAM (Mediation, Information & Assessment Meeting), which involves an hour with the mediator, and separately, an hour with our therapist who will consider with each participant the emotional issues that impact upon resolution of the conflict.

You can hear more about their mediation model (and lots of other personal information!) all explored by Coram’s Rachel Cooper in her inimitable style in her Family Law Week podcast here.

Coram are thrilled that The Mediation Space LLP is up for the Resolution Innovation Champion Award. Please join us in congratulating them!
