It is with great pleasure to announce that John Thornton, is now a qualified arbitrator. Please join us in congratulating him on this achievement.

John specialises in complex public and private law children cases. He also accepts instruction in Financial Remedy and via Public  Access.

He often represents parents in complex public law proceedings as well as appearing on behalf of the child. John has extensive experience in all aspects of private law children cases including complex fact-finding hearings, parental alienation, relocation, and intractable contact disputes as well as representing children via rule 16.4.

He has been described in the Legal 500 as ‘Pragmatic, Forthright and Intelligent’ and ‘Very experienced in both public and private children law matters’.
