Caroline practices in all areas of the law relating to children and in the Court of Protection. Caroline is efficient, diligent and a skilled advocate who focusses on the specific needs of each client. Caroline is easy to work with and compassionate.

Experience

Caroline has a busy and diverse practice.  

Caroline represents all parties involved in public law proceedings. Caroline has a range of experience in difficult care cases, for instance: cases with life changing inflicted injuries and complex medical evidence, including cases with suspected shaking injuries; cases involving inter-generational and inter-sibling sexual abuse; cases with allegations of poisoning and drugging; cases where FII is suspected; cases of abduction; and cases where children are placed abroad.  

Caroline is regularly instructed in wardship proceedings and other applications under the inherent jurisdiction.  

Caroline undertakes the full range of private law proceedings, often representing children’s guardians and NYAS caseworkers.  

Caroline has a broad range of appeal experience and in recent years Caroline has been led by Queen’s Counsel several times.  

Caroline has a keen interest in non-traditional family structures and LGBTQIA + rights and representation.
