Sophie specialises in financial remedies and private law children, appearing in the Family Court and High Court. She is an able advocate and negotiator, combining legal expertise and strategy, with an empathetic approach to client care.

Sophie has experience of ADR in both finance and children work. She is highly commended for her astute attention to detail and robust approach during negotiations and hearings.

Sophie has significant experience in representing vulnerable clients, including victims of abuse. She is currently acting in a case where all three parties are profoundly deaf. Sophie regularly acts in parental alienation cases, and those with an international element. For instance, cases with issues of jurisdiction and forum conveniens, and child abduction and relocation cases.

She is an Accredited Mediator and is registered with the Bar Council for Direct Access work. Prior to joining the Bar, Sophie worked at the Ministry of Justice in the Offender Reform and Commissioning Group.
